Dr. Elizabeth Sanders
Supportive, Palmetto FL Therapist
I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times. Whether you're facing daily stress, emotional ups and downs, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck, it’s okay to ask for support—and I’m here to walk alongside you. Life brings challenges that can feel isolating, confusing, and sometimes too heavy to carry alone. My role is to support you through those moments with compassion, guidance, and tools that help you feel more grounded and empowered.
That support might look like helping you manage anxiety so it no longer takes over your day, working through feelings of sadness or self-doubt, navigating family or relationship conflicts, or developing healthier ways to cope with stress and big emotions. I also work with children and adolescents on issues like behavioral challenges, peer relationships, school pressures, and emotional regulation, offering a space where they can feel safe, understood, and encouraged to grow.
I work with children, teens, adults, and couples, providing a warm and collaborative environment where you can feel truly seen and supported. My specialties include anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, self-care, stress management, relationship and communication difficulties, emotional or behavioral disorders, and grief.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to best meet your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and the Gottman Method. Our work together will be personalized and collaborative—centered around your goals, your strengths, and the pace that feels right for you.
At the heart of my work is a belief in your ability to heal, grow, and thrive. No matter where you are on your journey, you're not alone. I'm here to help you find clarity, connection, and confidence as you move forward.
